What can you create? (Episode 271)
Focus your creativity on what you can change.
As you might know I live on an island 10 months a year. But in January and February, we live on the mainland (due to too much ice).
Here is a picture of me a few days ago taking off the boat engine for the season.
In Sweden we have a saying: “There is no bad weather – just bad clothes”.
I share this with you to remind you to focus your creativity and your thoughts on what you CAN change, instead on what you cannot.
In my case, I went and bought a floating overall that will keep me warm for 5 hours in 10 degree water, were I to fall in.
And suddenly the terrible January weather is not stopping me from anything.
What do you want to change and what of that CAN you control or change with your creativity?
I love the Serenity prayer for its message:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference.
Perhaps we can tweak it a bit to read:
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
wisdom to know the difference
and imagination to see the possibilities.
I wish you an amazingly creative 2026.
A year that I hope and plan to see many new opportunities as I continue to explore the world.

BYE 2025 – HELLO 2026
In 2025 I had the privilege and honor of speaking in 19 countries on 4 continents.
For 2026 I am already booked to speak on four continents as well.
I just LOVE discovering the world through creativity – and creativity through the world.
Thank you for all that made me see so much of our creative planet in 2025.
And a thank you in advance to all of you who will help me continue to do that in 2026.
